Role Description The Senior Architect at SMARTANK will lead the design and implementation of complex architectural solutions that support the company’s consulting services and internal systems. This full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai involves defining architecture standards, guiding software development teams, and ensuring seamless integration across platforms and tools. The Senior Architect will collaborate with business leaders and technical stakeholders to translate strategic requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable designs. Daily tasks include reviewing technical designs, conducting architecture reviews, managing technical risks, and providing mentorship to engineering and project teams. The role also involves coordinating with project managers to align architecture decisions with delivery timelines, quality expectations, and long-term technology roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to create scalable, secure, and robust system landscapes.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development, including modern frameworks, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Integration, such as designing and implementing APIs, middleware, and data flows between systems.
- Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including planning, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and providing architectural guidance and mentorship.
- Ability to align technology solutions with business strategy and operational requirements.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, microservices, and enterprise application architectures is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with a collaborative and inclusive working style.
