Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Relationship Manager role based in Hyderabad. The role involves acquiring and managing customers seeking affordable housing loans and loans against property, with a focus on self-employed and informally documented income profiles. The Senior Relationship Manager will meet prospective customers, understand their financial needs, explain product features, collect and verify documentation, and coordinate with credit and operations teams to ensure timely loan processing. Responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, monitoring repayment behavior, addressing service issues, and supporting portfolio quality and growth targets. The role also requires collaboration with local partners and internal stakeholders, regular field visits, and adherence to regulatory and company policies.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management and customer service skills, including the ability to build trust with diverse customer segments.
- Experience in retail lending or housing finance, preferably handling self-employed or informal income customers.
- Ability to assess basic financial information, understand credit risk, and work with documentation relevant to housing loans and loans against property.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in local language(s) and clear written and verbal communication in English.
- Comfort with field-based work, including regular customer visits, local market engagement, and on-site verification.
- Working knowledge of standard office and loan management systems; ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; relevant experience in financial services or housing finance is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and a strong focus on responsible lending and regulatory compliance.
