The Role
As our QA Lead, you'll own quality across a Flutter mobile app and Web App & Admin Panel — from defining how we test, to being the final gate before anything ships to real users handling real money. This is a leadership role. You set the standards, build the process and are the single point of accountability for quality. You won't be handed a QA playbook — you'll write it.
What You'll Do
• Build the QA function from the ground up — test strategy, processes, tooling, standards and SOPs.
• Be the final quality gate for every release across mobile (Flutter) and web app (React.js & Node.js). Nothing ships without your sign-off.
• Design and maintain test plans, test cases and regression suites across functional, API, integration and UI testing.
• Own release readiness — coordinate with the product team and our development partners on scope, timelines and acceptance criteria.
• Champion a quality culture — surface risks early, push back when something isn't ready and mentor as the team grows.
• Hold a high fintech bar on data accuracy, financial calculations, transaction flows and security-sensitive areas.
Must-Have
Ownership and leadership are the core requirements — everything below sits underneath it.
• Ownership & leadership mindset — you can independently run the quality function, make the call on what's ship-ready and be accountable for it. You lead the process rather than wait for direction.

• Strong QA fundamentals: test strategy, test case design, bug lifecycle, regression and release management.
• Hands-on mobile app testing (iOS + Android) and API / backend testing (Postman or similar, REST).
• Sharp attention to detail and structured, methodical thinking — especially around edge cases and data correctness.
• Clear written and verbal communication — you'll interface with product, developers and an external dev agency.
• Comfort setting up QA processes and documentation from scratch in a fast-moving startup.
Nice-to-Have
• Fintech domain experience
• Test automation — Appium, Selenium or equivalent frameworks.
• Familiarity with Flutter / Dart apps and React.js and Node.js web apps, specifically.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into them.
• Awareness of security testing basics and data-privacy considerations for financial data.
• Understanding of Indian capital markets (SEBI regulations, brokerage / AMC flows).
• Experience being the first or founding QA hire at a startup.
