Experience
6–10 years of overall software development experience.
Minimum 7+ years of strong, hands-on Python backend development.
1–3 years of practical Java experience in production systems (Spring / Spring Boot preferred).
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks (Django/Flask/FastAPI).
Contribute to the architecture and design of backend systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
Implement and maintain integrations with Java‑based services and components (e.g., Spring Boot microservices, legacy Java modules).
Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code, following best practices, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and drive root‑cause analysis and long‑term fixes.
Design and work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL), including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and product managers to deliver features end‑to‑end in an Agile environment.
Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and help establish coding standards and best practices.
Must‑Have Skills
Strong proficiency in Python (3.x) with experience building backend services or APIs.
Hands‑on experience with at least one major Python web framework: Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Working experience with Java, preferably using Spring or Spring Boot in microservices or enterprise applications.
Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and clean architecture principles.
Good knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar) and ORMs.
Experience with RESTful API design, versioning, and documentation.
Familiarity with Git and standard branching/review workflows.
Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation frameworks.
