What you need:
- 9–12+ years of experience in Python backend development, with strong hands-on expertise in building scalable applications.
- Strong experience with Kafka, Microservices, REST APIs, FastAPI, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs/GenAI into production applications, including agentic workflows and AI-driven automation.
- Strong understanding of system design, automated testing, observability, and CI/CD.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and data pipelines/ETL frameworks such as Airflow; cloud experience is a plus.
What you would do:
- Design and build secure, scalable backend systems and APIs using Python, with a focus on performance, reliability, and fault tolerance.
- Integrate LLMs and GenAI capabilities into core applications, building reliable workflows that address hallucinations and improve AI outcomes.
- Build and optimise event-driven and distributed systems using Kafka, microservices, databases, and data pipelines.
- Drive engineering excellence through testing, code reviews, observability, CI/CD, and deployment best practices.
- Lead technical design and mentor engineers while collaborating with Product, Data, Business, and DevOps teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
