About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior PR Executive to join our Delhi team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in media relations, client servicing, PR strategy and execution, along with an established understanding of the media landscape.
The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day PR activities, building strong media relationships, driving impactful coverage and supporting the team in delivering successful communications campaigns for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective PR and media relations strategies for clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers and other relevant media stakeholders.
- Identify relevant media opportunities and proactively generate quality coverage.
- Draft and coordinate press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, key messages, Q&As and other communication materials.
- Handle day-to-day client communication and ensure timely delivery of PR mandates.
- Coordinate interviews, media interactions, press conferences, events and other media engagements.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports, coverage updates and campaign reports.
- Track industry trends, news developments and competitor activity to identify relevant PR opportunities.
- Support the development of creative PR campaigns and communication ideas.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client mandates.
- Manage multiple accounts and priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- Demonstrate strong ownership of assigned accounts and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
Candidate Profile:
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Public Relations / Corporate Communications.
- Prior experience with a PR agency is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Delhi/NCR media landscape and established journalist relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong media pitching, storytelling and content-writing abilities.
- Good client servicing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and tight deadlines.
- A proactive, result-oriented and enthusiastic approach towards PR and communications.
