Role Description The Senior Physiotherapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for delivering advanced physiotherapy care and overseeing clinical standards. This role includes assessing clients’ physical conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, and administering evidence-based therapies to improve mobility, function, and quality of life. The Senior Physiotherapist will supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists, coordinate treatment schedules, and ensure adherence to professional and ethical guidelines. Daily tasks involve documenting clinical progress, collaborating with cross-functional teams on innovative rehabilitation programs, and educating clients on preventive and post-therapy exercises. The role may also include contributing clinical insights to digital engagement projects and supporting the integration of physiotherapy content into interactive platforms.
Qualifications
- Professional clinical skills: strong capability in patient assessment, diagnosis of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, and development of individualized treatment plans.
- Therapeutic expertise: proficiency in manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, electrotherapy modalities, and rehabilitation program design.
- Leadership and collaboration: experience supervising clinical teams, mentoring junior staff, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Communication and education: excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient counseling, education, and documentation of treatment progress.
- Technology and adaptability: comfort using digital tools for record-keeping, tele-consultation, and engagement with technology-driven health initiatives.
- Credentials: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution; valid professional registration or license as required by local regulations.
- Experience: several years of clinical experience in physiotherapy, preferably in a senior or lead role; experience with sports, orthopedic, or neuro-rehabilitation is an advantage.
- Additional qualities: strong ethical standards, problem-solving skills, commitment to evidence-based practice, and willingness to participate in continuous professional development.
