Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala
Full-time | Office-based | 5+ years’ experience
About Mommy First®
Mommy First® is a maternal wellness and postpartum recovery brand founded in New York, with an established presence in the United States, Europe and the GCC.
We are preparing for our pan-India launch in 2027 and are building our India team in Thiruvananthapuram.
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Performance Marketing Manager to build and lead paid acquisition and lifecycle marketing for Mommy First® India across Meta, Google and WhatsApp.
This is a performance and growth role, not a general digital marketing or social media position.
Your first six months
Before launch, you will help build the performance marketing foundation from the ground up.
You will:
- Set up and validate the tracking and attribution stack across Meta Pixel, Conversions API, GA4, Google Tag Manager and Shopify
- Establish Google Merchant Center and product feed readiness
- Build WhatsApp acquisition and lifecycle flows
- Run pre-launch tests across audiences, creatives, landing pages and offers
- Develop the paid acquisition framework for launch
- Help establish reporting, attribution and performance benchmarks
- Play a hands-on role in executing and scaling the India launch
What you’ll own
Meta
- Prospecting, retargeting, catalog and conversion campaigns
- Campaign architecture, budgets, audiences and bidding
- Creative testing and iteration
- Scaling and budget allocation decisions
- Creative fatigue and performance diagnosis
Google
- Search
- Shopping
- Performance Max
- Google Merchant Center
- Product feed health
- Conversion tracking and campaign optimization
WhatsApp
- Click-to-WhatsApp acquisition
- Lead nurturing
- Abandoned-cart journeys
- Launch and promotional campaigns
- Customer re-engagement
- Audience segmentation and lifecycle flows
Measurement & attribution
- Meta Pixel and Conversions API
- GA4
- Google Tag Manager
- Shopify events
- UTM standards
- Cross-platform attribution
- Reconciling differences between Meta, Google, GA4 and Shopify reporting
Creative performance
You will use campaign data to identify:
- Winning hooks and messages
- High-performing creators and formats
- Creative fatigue
- New testing opportunities
You will convert those insights into clear briefs for creators, agencies and internal teams.
Account health & advertising policy
As a maternal wellness brand, some campaigns may operate in policy-sensitive areas.
You will help maintain:
- Meta account health
- Google Ads compliance
- Appropriate advertising claims
- Landing-page compliance
- Rapid handling of disapprovals or account-quality issues
How performance will be measured
You will be expected to understand and actively manage metrics including:
- Customer Acquisition Cost
- New-customer CAC
- ROAS
- MER / blended marketing efficiency
- Conversion rate
- Average Order Value
- Contribution margin
- Paid revenue
- New versus returning customer performance
CTR, CPC and CPM matter diagnostically, but decisions should ultimately be based on commercial outcomes.
What this role does not primarily own
This role will work closely with other teams but will not primarily be responsible for:
- Organic social media
- Amazon Seller Central or Amazon PPC
- Customer-service case management
- Influencer relationship management
- Routine design production
- General website maintenance
What we’re looking for
You should have:
- 5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience
- Direct experience personally managing Meta and Google advertising budgets
- DTC, e-commerce or consumer-brand experience
- Strong Shopify experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Meta Pixel and Conversions API
- GA4 and Google Tag Manager experience
- Google Merchant Center experience
- Search, Shopping and Performance Max experience
- Strong understanding of CAC, ROAS, MER, AOV and contribution margin
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets capability
- Experience diagnosing performance problems rather than simply reporting metrics
- Strong analytical and commercial judgment
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment
Especially valuable
We would particularly value experience in:
- Beauty
- Personal care
- Maternity
- Baby
- Women’s wellness
- Consumer health
- Shopify-based DTC brands
- Advertising in policy-sensitive categories
- Handling Meta or Google ad disapprovals and account-quality issues
- WhatsApp platforms such as Interakt, Wati, Gupshup or AiSensy
- Running campaigns across multiple countries
- CRO and landing-page optimization
- Creator or UGC-based performance advertising
You should be able to answer questions like
Why did CAC increase this week?
Which creative should be scaled, refreshed or stopped?
Is weak performance coming from the audience, creative, offer, landing page or tracking?
Why does Meta report a different number of purchases than Shopify or GA4?
How should budget be reallocated between Meta and Google?
How do we scale acquisition while protecting contribution margin and account health?
We are looking for someone who can answer these questions with data and take action.
Why join Mommy First®
You will have the opportunity to build the performance marketing function for Mommy First® India from the beginning.
You will work directly with the founders and our international marketing partners while helping shape the tracking, testing and customer-acquisition systems behind a pan-India DTC launch.
Over time, there may also be opportunities to support selected international campaigns.
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience and demonstrated capability.
Relocation: Relocation assistance may be considered for exceptional candidates currently based elsewhere in India.
How to apply
Apply directly through LinkedIn with your current CV.
Shortlisted candidates should be prepared to discuss campaigns they have personally managed, including advertising budgets, CAC and ROAS, campaigns they scaled or stopped and why, tracking or attribution issues they resolved, and Meta or Google policy/account-quality issues they have handled.
