About the role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, as a Senior Associate Marketing, you will be the operational backbone of our marketing function. You will be responsible for day-to-day campaign execution, cross-functional team coordination, and ensuring that all marketing initiatives from paid campaigns to newsletters to events run smoothly and on-brand. This role is ideal for someone who is both a hands-on executor and a natural coordinator. Someone who can manage multiple workstreams while holding the connective tissue that allows different teams to collaborate effectively.
You will work closely with our in-house creative, social media, and influencer teams, as well as external agencies (performance marketing, website, SEO). You'll generate copy, coordinate across teams, troubleshoot day-to-day issues, and ensure that our operations move seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns. Create ad sets, manage budgets, monitor performance, and optimize for KPIs under the direction of the Marketing Manager.
- Create and manage donor email campaigns. Ideate and draft monthly newsletters, coordinate with stakeholders, write copy, manage the database, schedule sends, and track performance metrics.
- Coordinate with the social media team. Review and provide creative feedback on scripts, video concepts, and posts to ensure brand alignment. Manage LinkedIn and YouTube channels directly, including content scheduling, community management, and performance tracking.
- Project manage event logistics and collateral development. Coordinate timelines, manage event landing pages and payment integrations, develop print and digital collaterals in collaboration with the in-house designer, and provide on-ground support.
- Serve as the operational liaison between all marketing teams. Manage day-to-day communication between social media, influencer partnerships, design, website agency, and performance marketing agency. Ensure each team has what they need and resolve collaboration issues quickly.
- Generate copy across campaigns. Write ad copy, email subject lines, social media captions, event descriptions, and other marketing collateral as needed to support ongoing initiatives.
- Compile monthly marketing reporting. Extract data from all channels, create dashboards presenting KPIs, and provide insights to the Marketing Manager.
- Coordinate with external agencies. Provide briefs to performance marketing and website partners, review deliverables, request revisions, and ensure alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Support cross-functional collaboration. Work with Clinical Operations, HR, Research, Admin, and Finance teams to source stories, create materials, and coordinate logistics.
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 4–5 years of experience in marketing execution, digital marketing, marketing operations, or agency environments (nonprofit experience a plus; marketing agency background is a bonus)
- Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and email marketing platforms (Mailchimp or equivalent)
- Strong writing and editing skills with ability to adapt tone across different audiences and channels
- Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience with social media management (LinkedIn, Instagram) and analytics
- Comfortable with project management tools and comfortable learning new platforms quickly
Skills
You're a connector and problem-solver. You thrive in environments where coordination is just as important as execution. When a social media post needs input from design and the in-house team, you make that happen efficiently. You spot bottlenecks before they become problems and find creative solutions. People come to you because they know you'll move things forward.
You're a detail-oriented multitasker. You can manage Meta Ads, Google Ads, email campaigns, LinkedIn/YouTube, and event logistics simultaneously without losing track of quality or deadlines. You create systems to stay organized. You catch small errors before they go live.
You're a strong writer. You write clearly and compellingly across different formats. Newsletter copy, ad headlines, social captions, email subject lines. You adapt your voice for different audiences. You're comfortable with iterative feedback and can refine copy quickly.
You're collaborative and diplomatic. You work well with creative teams, in-house staff, and external agencies. You give feedback constructively. You listen to understand before pushing your perspective. You're known for being easy to work with and responsive.
You're operationally minded. You enjoy building processes that scale. You're comfortable with ambiguity and can identify what needs to happen without being told explicitly. You take ownership of smooth operations.
You're mission-driven. You care about our mission. Every email you write, every ad you launch, every event you coordinate directly impacts children with cancer and their families. This work matters to you.
This role is not for you if:
- You prefer working independently and find constant cross-functional communication draining.
- You're looking for a pure strategy or creative role with minimal execution responsibility.
- You struggle with ambiguity or need explicit instructions for every task.
- You lack passion for supporting children's health and cancer care.
Location: Mumbai. This is a full-time role based in Mumbai.
