Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Managing Director role based in Moradabad, India. The Senior Managing Director will provide overall strategic leadership, set business direction, and oversee operations across manufacturing, export, and customer service functions. Responsibilities include defining and executing growth strategies, managing key international client relationships, and ensuring product quality and timely delivery. The role will also involve leading senior management teams, optimizing processes and resources, guiding budgeting and financial performance, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The Senior Managing Director will represent the company in high-level negotiations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in senior leadership roles within manufacturing, exports, or related industries, with a strong track record in strategic planning and execution.
- Proficiency in international business development, including managing global client relationships, negotiating contracts, and expanding into new markets.
- Strong operational management skills, covering production oversight, supply chain coordination, quality assurance, and process optimization.
- Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance analysis to support sustainable growth.
- Ability to lead and develop diverse teams, build stakeholder alignment, and communicate effectively across cultures and functions.
- Knowledge of export regulations, logistics, documentation, and compliance standards relevant to home décor and lifestyle products.
- Experience working with or appreciation for artisanal craft, design-led products, and global home décor trends is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, International Trade, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Moradabad and travel domestically and internationally as needed.
