The Role
The Senior Manager - Investment Banking & M&A will play a central role in managing transaction execution, supporting seller onboarding, buyer matching activities, and leading a growing team of analysts, associates, and deal professionals.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining execution management, client management, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Execution
- Lead execution of live M&A and capital raising transactions
- Manage transaction timelines and deal processes
- Coordinate buyers, investors, clients, lawyers, and advisers
- Identify and resolve execution bottlenecks
- Drive transactions toward successful completion
Seller Onboarding
- Meet prospective sellers and business owners
- Assess transaction readiness and suitability
- Guide clients through onboarding and preparation processes
Buyer & Investor Matching
- Support buyer outreach and engagement
- Facilitate introductions and transaction discussions
- Maintain momentum throughout the deal process
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor analysts, associates, and execution professionals
- Review work product and ensure quality standards
- Improve internal processes and transaction workflows
Requirements
- 7-10 years of M&A execution experience
- Prior transaction experience across Southeast Asia strongly preferred, with broader international market experience also considered
- Experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, corporate finance, private equity, or corporate development
- Demonstrated involvement in completed transactions
- Experience managing junior professionals and multiple live transactions
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication and leadership capability
