🚨 Hiring: DVP / VP – Equity Capital Markets (ECM) | Mumbai
**About the Opportunity:**
We are looking for a seasoned investment banking professional to lead origination and client acquisition for a leading financial services firm. This is a senior individual contributor role, reporting directly to the Head – ECM, and offers high visibility in the capital markets ecosystem.
Role:** DVP / VP – Equity Capital Markets
Location : South Mumbai
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead origination of ECM mandates including IPOs, QIPs, rights issues, OFS, preferential allotments, and other equity-linked instruments
- Build and manage relationships with corporates, promoters, PE/VC investors, family offices, and institutional counterparties
- Drive syndication strategy, anchor investor identification, and book-building coordination
- Represent the firm at roadshows, conferences, and one-on-one investor meetings
- Track primary market trends, competitor deal flow, and investor sentiment to sharpen origination strategy
- Mentor junior team members on origination and client engagement
- Support the Head – ECM in pipeline reviews, MIS, and business planning
**Essential Qualifications:**
- MBA / CA / CFA Level 3
**Experience Required:**
- 10–15 years of post-qualification experience in ECM, investment banking, or capital markets
- Proven track record in origination and client acquisition
- Established network among corporates, promoters, and institutional investors
- Strong familiarity with SEBI ICDR and LODR regulations
**Key Skills:**
- Strong origination instinct with ability to independently build a client pipeline
- Excellent relationship-management and investor-facing communication skills
- Confident external presence for client and investor interactions
- Commercial mindset with ability to prioritize high-potential opportunities
- Leadership orientation with mentoring capabilities
