We are looking for an experienced legal professional to join our team as Senior Manager – Legal at our Ghatkopar, Mumbai office. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in mortgage-related legal operations, title due diligence, documentation, compliance, and team management.

Role Description
Location: Ghatkopar, Mumbai
Experience: 4–5 years in Mortgage, Lending, Banking, or Financial Institutions
Qualification: LLB, LLM, or equivalent law degree
Joining: Immediate joiners preferred
Role Type: Non-Litigation
Qualifications
- LLB / LLM or equivalent
- Strong experience in non-litigation legal functions
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Title Search and TSR Vetting
- Verify property ownership and perform legal due diligence
- Draft, review, and vet mortgage and loan documentation
- Provide legal advisory on mortgage products and regulatory compliance
- Identify and mitigate legal, operational, and fraud risks
- Ensure adherence to TATs and compliance standards
- Handle client escalations and provide legal resolutions
- Lead, mentor, and manage legal teams
- Build strong relationships with clients, banks, and stakeholders
