Role Description The Senior Landscape Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for leading landscape design projects from concept through execution. Day-to-day tasks include developing master plans and detailed landscape designs, preparing planting plans, coordinating drawings and documentation, and guiding junior team members. The role involves site analysis, client communication, and collaboration with consultants to ensure that design intent is maintained throughout all stages of the project. The Senior Landscape Architect will review technical details, oversee design quality, and participate in design reviews, contributing to innovative, sustainable, and context-responsive solutions. This role also includes periodic site visits to monitor implementation and resolve design and coordination issues as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Design for conceptualization, detailed design, and project leadership.
- Candidates should possess skills in Landscape Planning and Landscaping to manage site layout, circulation, grading, and integration with built environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in developing and reviewing Planting Plans in Indian Context, including species selection, composition, and maintenance considerations.
- Professional degree in Landscape Architecture-M.Arch, with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture and design in India.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, or similar), and ability to review and coordinate drawings and presentations.
- Strong visualization, graphic communication, and technical documentation abilities, with attention to detail and construction coordination capabilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
