Role Description
We are looking for an Architectural Draftsman or Fresher Architect with strong software skills and a genuine interest in architectural detailing, working drawings, interior documentation, and project execution.
The selected candidate will work closely with the principal architect and project team to prepare accurate drawings, develop design presentations, coordinate project information, and support ongoing architecture and interior projects.
This role is suitable for:
- An architectural draftsman with strong AutoCAD and technical drawing skills
- A fresher architect who is confident with software, documentation, and design development
- A diploma holder in architecture, civil drafting, or a related field with a strong portfolio
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate architectural and interior working drawings
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction documentation
- Prepare furniture layouts, flooring layouts, ceiling plans, electrical layouts, and toilet and kitchen details
- Convert sketches, site measurements, reference images, and design instructions into technical drawings
- Create basic 3D models, design presentations, and material boards
- Revise drawings based on design discussions, consultant inputs, and site conditions
- Maintain drawing standards, file organization, revision records, and project documentation
- Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants
- Assist with quantity take-offs, BOQs, schedules, and technical submissions when required
- Participate in site visits, measurements, vendor coordination, and execution reviews
- Identify drawing inconsistencies and resolve them before issue or execution
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of SketchUp
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate architectural working drawings
- Good understanding of plans, elevations, sections, dimensions, and construction details
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Good file management and documentation habits
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand instructions and complete tasks independently
- Comfortable communicating in Hindi and basic professional English
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of any of the following will be an advantage:
- Revit
- Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, or Twinmotion
- Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign
- Excel and BOQ preparation
- Interior detailing and furniture drawings
- Site measurement and execution coordination
- AI-assisted design, presentation, or documentation tools
Qualifications
Candidates may apply with any one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- Diploma in Architectural Assistantship or Architectural Drafting
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering with strong architectural drafting skills
- Relevant technical qualification supported by a strong portfolio and software proficiency
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Practical ability, software skills, accuracy, and attitude will be valued more than years of experience.
