We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join our engineering team in Chennai. This role is ideal for an experienced backend developer who enjoys building scalable, cloud-native applications and solving complex engineering challenges in distributed systems.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize high-performance backend services while contributing to the architecture of next-generation advertising technology platforms.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and optimize microservices-based architectures that support high availability and performance.
- Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and best practices.
- Design and implement robust distributed systems capable of handling high traffic and low-latency workloads.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and production issues.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology evaluations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and operational excellence.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 5-9 years of hands-on software development experience using Java.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, object-oriented programming, and multithreading concepts.
- Extensive experience building applications using Spring Boot and related Spring frameworks.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and backend development best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda
- Proven experience designing and supporting distributed systems in high-volume production environments.
- Excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
- Experience working in Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, Agile, and fast-paced product development environment.

- Strong understanding of performance optimization and reliability engineering.
