Role Description The Senior Interior Designer (Whitefield) role at Interiors Spaces is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The person in this role will lead the design process from concept development through final execution, including space planning, material selection, and FF&E coordination. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing design presentations, construction drawings, and detailed specifications, while ensuring that designs are functional, safe, and aligned with client requirements. The Senior Interior Designer will oversee project timelines, coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors, conduct site visits, and provide guidance to junior designers. This role requires regular client interaction, design reviews, and hands-on involvement in project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with experience in residential projects.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and ability to collaborate effectively with architectural teams.
- Ability to create and interpret Construction Drawings, including detailed layouts and technical documentation.
- Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, sourcing, and documentation.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills, with strong client presentation abilities.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and on-site coordination in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in a senior design role is highly desirable.
