Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead residential interior projects from initial concept through final execution, ensuring designs align with client needs, budgets, and timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients, conducting site visits, developing design concepts, preparing mood boards and material palettes, and overseeing space planning and layouts. The role involves coordinating construction drawings, working closely with contractors and vendors, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and monitoring quality during installation. The designer will mentor junior team members, manage project documentation, and support presentations to clients and internal stakeholders. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring an immediate joiner who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design skills, with proficiency in concept development and residential design solutions.
- Candidates should possess Space Planning expertise to create functional layouts that optimize flow, comfort, and usability.
- Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to interpret, prepare, and coordinate technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess FF&E knowledge to select and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, and equipment that align with design intent and budget.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of proven experience in residential interiors.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with local building codes and materials.
- Strong project management, vendor coordination, and client communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru as an immediate joiner, with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail.
