We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead and oversee the HR function and manage a team of HR professionals. The role will focus on ensuring effective HR processes, people practices, and policies across the organization while working closely with the Leadership Team and various departments.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience across the HR domain, excellent team management and stakeholder coordination skills, and the ability to independently handle complex people-related matters and HR escalations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
HR Leadership & Team Management:
• Lead and oversee the overall HR function and ensure smooth and effective execution of HR activities across the organization.
• Manage, mentor, and guide the HR team, delegate responsibilities, set priorities, and monitor overall team performance.
• Establish clear HR processes and ensure consistency and accountability in their implementation.
• Review and improve existing HR practices and processes as the organization evolves.
• Guide the HR team on complex cases and personally handle critical or sensitive matters where required.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
• Coordinate closely with department heads, managers, and different teams on HR related requirements and employee matters.
• Understand team-level requirements and ensure timely support and resolution through the HR team.
• Maintain effective communication between HR and other departments for smooth implementation of HR initiatives.
• Work with managers on people-related concerns, team dynamics, performance issues, and employee matters.
Performance Management:
• Oversee the organization's Performance Management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, feedback, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure performance management processes are implemented consistently across departments.
• Work with managers and leadership to address performance concerns and identify appropriate improvement or development measures.
• Monitor overall performance trends and highlight key concerns to the Leadership Team.
Employee Relations & Grievance Handling:
• Oversee employee relations and grievance management across the organization.
• Ensure employee concerns and grievances are addressed fairly, confidentially, and within appropriate timelines.
• Handle complex and escalated employee grievances, conflicts, and sensitive workplace matters.
• Work with relevant managers and department heads to resolve employee-related concerns effectively.
• Identify recurring employee issues and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
HR Policies & Processes:
• Develop, review, update, and oversee the implementation of HR policies, company policies, and HR processes.
• Ensure employees and managers are aware of and adhere to applicable policies and guidelines.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies across departments.
• Keep updated with relevant HR practices, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.
Employee Engagement & Retention:
• Oversee initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, employee experience, and organizational culture.
• Review employee feedback and retention trends and recommend appropriate actions.
• Support initiatives that promote a positive, collaborative, and performance-oriented work environment.
HR Operations, Technology & Reporting:
• Oversee key HR operations including employee lifecycle management, attendance, leave, payroll coordination, onboarding, and exits.
• Ensure effective utilization of HRMS/HRIS, attendance, payroll, recruitment, performance management, and other HR-related tools.
• Review HR reports, employee data, and key HR metrics to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Provide regular HR updates and relevant insights to the Leadership Team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 8–9 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, with prior experience in a Senior HR Manager/HR leadership role.
• Strong prior experience across the HR domain, with hands-on understanding of core HR functions.
• Proven experience in team handling, people management, and cross-functional coordination.
• Strong experience in Performance Management, Employee Relations, and Grievance Handling.
• Good understanding of HR policies, company policies, HR processes, and employee lifecycle management.
• Experience working with Leadership Team, department heads, managers, and multiple teams.
• Hands-on experience using HRMS/HRIS and other HR-related software and tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and complex employee matters with maturity, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Educational Qualification:
• MBA / Master's Degree in Human Resources (HR) or equivalent qualification is
mandatory.
• Proficient in Excel
