Job details:
- Experience in Electrical Panel Manufacturing / Switchgear Industry preferred.
- Handle procurement of electrical, mechanical and fabrication materials for panels.
- Prepare and release RFQs, purchase orders and comparative statements.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, pricing, delivery schedules and material availability.
- Identify and develop reliable vendors for electrical panel components.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery timelines with suppliers.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Design and Costing teams for material requirements.
- Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase data and documentation.
- Monitor market prices and support cost-reduction initiatives.
- Follow up on pending materials, shortages and quality-related issues.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Purchase software.
- Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
