Overview
To cater the requirements of Environmental & Health safety, the dedicated person needed to track, implement and guide on EHS matters in plants.
Duties And Responsibilities
- The EHS Executive will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the safety culture across the shop floor and office areas. The role ensures adherence to ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards, provides technical assistance to the team, and supports risk assessments, audits, machinery safety, and EHS-related projects.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -Safety Culture & Compliance:
- Drive, implement, and sustain strong safety culture across shop floor and office areas.
- Ensure compliance with statutory EHS Legal requirements and SG EHS standards.
- Develop and deliver safety awareness trainings, toolbox talks, and campaigns.
- Conduct daily EHS rounds and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support and coordinate internal and external audits for ISO 14001 (EMS) and ISO 45001 (OHSMS).
- Maintain documentation, procedures, and records as per ISO requirements.
- Assist in gap analysis, corrective actions, and continual improvement programs.
- Knowledge of WCM, TPM QMS – ISO 9001:2015 is an added advantage.
- Assist the Plant team in performing Risk Assessments (HIRA, JSA,etc.).
- Provide technical assistance for machinery safety compliance, ergonomics, and hazard identification.
- Participate in incident investigations and support root cause analysis.
- Support implementation of new EHS projects such as
- Safety improvement initiatives
- Environmental sustainability projects
- Engineering controls for hazard mitigation. Installation/commissioning of systems
- EHS Audits & Reporting: Conduct regular inspections and internal EHS audits.
- Track and monitor compliance gaps and follow-up actions.
- Support Projects for Safety Compliance
Educational Qualification
- The candidate shall be passed – Diploma / BE with ADIS from
- Additionally, qualifications in environmental science will be added value, i.e. MSC environmental with ADIS
Experience
- Minimum 10 to 12 years of Experience in EHS (Operational Plant Safety/ Process Industries) Knowledge in Construction safety will add value
