Role Overview
We are looking for a result-oriented
Collections professional to manage B2B collections and recovery for assigned accounts in the Mumbai region. The role involves regular follow-ups with clients, monitoring receivables, resolving payment issues, and ensuring timely recovery while maintaining strong customer relationships. The candidate will work closely with sales, finance, and credit teams to minimize overdue balances and improve cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end B2B collections and recovery for assigned corporate/MSME accounts.
- Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices through calls, emails, and field visits.
- Track ageing reports, overdue balances, and payment commitments.
- Resolve disputes related to billing, documentation, or service issues in coordination with internal teams.
- Ensure adherence to collection processes, policies, and compliance norms.
- Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports on collections, ageing, and recovery status.
- Support legal or escalation processes for chronic overdue cases, if required.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients to ensure smooth collections.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B collections or recovery.
- Prior experience in NBFC / Fintech / Lending companies is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of receivables management, ageing analysis, and recovery processes.
- Good negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable with field visits and customer interactions.
- Working knowledge of Excel and basic MIS reporting.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet collection targets.
