Role Description The Senior Executive – Business Growth will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships for The Recycling Company. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mumbai and involves identifying potential clients, understanding their sustainability needs, and presenting tailored solutions and services. Daily responsibilities include lead generation, pipeline management, preparing proposals and presentations, conducting market research, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of client projects. The role also includes tracking key performance metrics, supporting strategic partnerships, and representing the company at meetings, events, and industry forums to promote brand visibility and business growth.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client outreach, and relationship management.
- Experience in sustainability, waste management, recycling, or environmental services, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and reporting to support growth strategies and performance tracking.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in business, environmental sciences, sustainability, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a growth-focused role within sustainability or related sectors is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with CRM tools, productivity software, and basic project management practices.
