Company Description We are looking for Senior Accounts Executive for one of our clients who is into manufacturing, supply and installation of electric charger across India and also maintaining and running electric charging network.
Role Description The Senior Executive Accounts will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger postings, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, finalization of accounts and support for payroll processing. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with statutory and tax compliances, and coordinating with auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting. The Senior Executive Accounts will collaborate with internal teams on budgeting, cost tracking, and management reporting, while maintaining robust internal controls and documentation. The role requires close coordination with client-facing teams to address finance-related queries and support advisory engagements with reliable financial data. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in core accounting, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and finalization of accounts.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and management information systems (MIS).
- Knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance, with experience supporting audits and regulatory filings.
- Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar), and good Excel and spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to interpret financial data, prepare accurate reconciliations, and maintain organized documentation and records.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, auditors, and clients in a professional manner.
- Relevant academic background such as B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or a similar finance/accounting qualification; professional certifications (CA Inter, CMA Inter, etc.) are an advantage.
- Experience in professional services, consulting, or corporate compliance environments will be considered beneficial.
