About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Executive – Social Media who can take ownership of our social media strategy, content execution, community engagement and platform growth across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook. The ideal candidate should combine creative thinking, strong content understanding and data-driven decision-making to build engaging digital communities and strengthen the AAFT Online brand.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Content Calendar
- Own and execute monthly social media calendars across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook.
- Align content with course launches, admissions cycles and brand campaigns.
- Develop a balanced mix of branding, student testimonials, faculty features, course promotions, Reels, carousels, polls and trending formats.
- Track follower growth, engagement and content calendar adherence.
2. Content Execution & Quality
- Brief designers and video editors on platform-specific creative requirements.
- Write engaging captions, hooks and CTAs tailored to each platform.
- Review and approve content for brand consistency, quality and accuracy.
3. Community Management & ORM
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs and mentions within defined SLAs.
- Identify and escalate negative sentiment, complaints and reputation risks.
- Maintain a positive and consistent brand voice across public interactions.
4. Paid Social Coordination
- Work with the Performance Marketing team to identify high-performing organic content for amplification.
- Share audience insights and content learnings to support paid targeting and campaigns.
5. Platform Growth & Trends
- Stay updated on social media algorithms, emerging formats and competitor activity, particularly within the EdTech space.
- Experiment with new formats and platforms such as YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn Newsletters.
- Track reach, impressions and adoption of new content formats.
6. Influencer & Student Advocacy
- Identify and coordinate with students, alumni advocates and micro-influencers for authentic UGC.
- Repurpose testimonials and student-generated content into social media assets.
7. Reporting & Analytics
- Track weekly and monthly performance across platforms, including reach, engagement, follower growth and top-performing content.
- Prepare monthly social media performance reports with actionable recommendations for the Marketing Head.
What We're Looking For
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in Social Media / Digital Marketing / Content Marketing.
- Graduation in any discipline.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats and audience behaviour.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong creative thinking with an understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Ability to manage multiple content initiatives and work collaboratively with creative and marketing teams.
