Role Description The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems and power distribution networks for industrial facilities at the Mandideep site. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves preparing and reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, load calculations, and equipment selection to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant installations. The role includes overseeing project execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors, and conducting inspections and testing of electrical systems. The Senior Electrical Engineer will troubleshoot complex electrical issues, support maintenance activities, ensure adherence to relevant standards and codes, and mentor junior engineers and technicians. The individual will also contribute to project planning, cost estimation, and continuous improvement initiatives in electrical engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of core Electrical Engineering principles, including Electricity and Power Systems, with the ability to apply them to industrial environments.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and Power Distribution, including system layout, protection schemes, and equipment sizing.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Relevant experience (typically 5+ years) in industrial or utility electrical projects, preferably in manufacturing or energy sectors.
- Familiarity with national and international electrical codes and standards, and experience ensuring regulatory and safety compliance.
- Ability to use electrical design and analysis software (such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools) and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on system reliability.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Mandideep and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in project management, including scheduling, resource planning, and vendor coordination, is an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and continuous professional development in electrical engineering.
