Senior Digital Account Manager (SEO/AEO & Paid Media)
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 4-8 years
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Digital Account Manager to own client relationships and run digital performance programs across organic search and paid media. You'll be the face of our digital practice for your clients, the one person they turn to for everything from strategy to campaign updates, so exceptional communication is at the heart of this role.
You'll turn client business goals into SEO, AEO, paid media plans and work with internal specialists to deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities -
Client & Account Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients across all digital projects, including SEO, AEO, paid media, web and content, and be the single voice they rely on for updates, decisions and escalations
- Own day-to-day relationships across a portfolio of B2B accounts, acting as a trusted digital advisor
- Understand client business goals, ICPs and pipeline priorities, and translate them into digital strategies
- Lead client calls, monthly/quarterly business reviews and performance presentations
- Translate technical concepts and performance data into clear, business-focused language for non-technical stakeholders
- Manage scopes, timelines, budgets and expectations, and proactively flag risks, delays or changes before they become issues
- Brief internal teams clearly and ensure client feedback is accurately reflected in execution
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
SEO & AEO
- Develop and oversee SEO strategies covering technical, on-page, content and off-page
- Drive AEO/GEO initiatives to improve brand visibility in AI-driven answer engines and generative search (e.g. Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity), including structured data, entity optimization and answer-focused content
- Guide keyword research, content roadmaps and topical authority planning with content and SEO teams
- Track rankings, organic traffic, share of voice and AI citations, and report on impact
Paid Media
- Oversee planning, execution and optimization of paid campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta and other relevant platforms
- Own budget allocation, bidding strategy, audience targeting and creative/messaging direction for B2B lead generation
- Monitor performance against KPIs (CPL, CPA, MQL/SQL quality, ROAS) and drive continuous optimization
- Ensure proper conversion tracking and attribution setup
Reporting & Analytics
- Build clear, insight-led dashboards and reports using GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio and platform analytics
- Turn data into actionable recommendations, not just metrics
Internal Leadership
- Coordinate cross-functionally with SEO, paid media, content, design and web teams
- Mentor junior account managers and executives
- Contribute to proposals, pitches and process improvements
Must-have
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently lead client conversations, present strategy and handle difficult discussions
- 4-8 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2-3 years in an account management or client-facing role at an agency
- Proven experience as the main client-facing contact managing multiple digital projects at once
- Strong working knowledge of SEO (technical, on-page, content) and hands-on understanding of AEO/GEO trends
- Proven experience managing paid media campaigns (Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads preferred)
- Proficiency with tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Semrush/Ahrefs and Looker Studio
- Strong analytical mindset and comfort with data-driven decision-making
- Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to coordinate across internal teams and keep clients informed
Good-to-have
- B2B, SaaS or tech marketing experience
- Familiarity with marketing automation/CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Experience with ABM or full-funnel demand generation
- Google Ads / GA4 certifications
