About the Opportunity
We are hiring a Senior Data Scientist for a technology organization working on large-scale digital and operational analytics platforms. The role focuses on statistical modelling, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, metrics frameworks, and production data insights.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced Data Scientist who can work across large datasets, build models and dashboards from scratch, and translate complex findings into clear business and technical decisions.
Role Overview
- Experience: 8+ Years; 7+ years relevant experience mandatory
- Location: Hyderabad — Local candidates only
- Work Mode: 4 Days Work From Office + 1 Day Work From Home
- Shift: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM
- CTC: Up to ₹30 LPA
- Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days
- Positions: 2
- Interview: L1 Technical → L2 Techno-Managerial → Client Interview
- F2F: Required after L1
Key Responsibilities
- Define and build metrics frameworks for complex digital/ordering pipelines.
- Develop dashboards covering volume, throughput, turnaround time, error rates, and system stability.
- Build predictive models for failures, trends, and capacity planning.
- Develop automated anomaly detection for identifying operational issues proactively.
- Apply statistical techniques for root-cause analysis.
- Work with engineering teams to improve data collection and instrumentation.
- Analyse data from multiple systems and create unified business insights.
- Present complex statistical and technical findings to executives and engineering teams.
- Handle ad-hoc analysis for production incidents and business problems.
- Document metric definitions, model logic, data sources, and dashboard architecture.
Mandatory Skills
- 8+ years in Data Science, ML Engineering, or Advanced Analytics.
- 7+ years relevant Data Science experience.
- Strong statistics:
- Hypothesis Testing
- Regression
- Time Series
- Bayesian Methods
- Advanced SQL with complex queries across multiple datasets.
- Strong Python or R.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Pandas
- NumPy
- Scikit-learn
- Statsmodels or equivalent
- Experience with AWS data/ML services such as SageMaker, Redshift, Athena, Glue, or QuickSight.
- Strong hands-on Tableau experience.
- Experience building dashboards and metrics frameworks from scratch.
- Production experience with predictive modelling and anomaly detection.
- Strong stakeholder communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Healthcare / Diagnostics / Lab Operations experience.
- Operational analytics, SLA monitoring, system health metrics.
- Real-time/streaming analytics using Kinesis or Lambda.
