We are a startup building a platform that helps companies automate the process of creating and managing data pipelines.
We are looking for a strong Data Engineer to join our small existing team and play an important role in building and improving the product.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and seeing their work directly impact a growing product.
What You'll Do
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot data pipelines.
- Work with data coming from different sources and in different formats.
- Transform and organize data and move it into data warehouses.
- Work with ETL/ELT pipelines and understand how the different steps work together.
- Work with Snowflake and SQL.
- Use Python for data engineering and automation.
- Work with Airflow for pipeline orchestration. Experience with Astronomer is a plus.
- Write and maintain automated tests to make sure pipelines and data are working correctly.
- Find and fix data and pipeline issues.
- Help improve the automation and code-generation platform.
- Take ownership of your work and make sure things work properly end-to-end.
- Proactively identify problems, suggest improvements, and share feedback with the team.
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience in Data Engineering.
- Good knowledge of SQL and data warehouse concepts.
- Experience with Snowflake or a similar data warehouse.
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT and data pipelines.
- Strong Python skills.
- Experience with Apache Airflow.
- Experience with automated testing.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a small team.
- Strong ownership and attention to detail.

Shift Timing
Regular Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:30 AM IST
Preferred Shift: 4:30 PM – 1:30 AM IST
The schedule is designed to provide significant overlap with the US-based team.
AI/ML experience is not required. We are primarily looking for strong Data Engineering fundamentals, a problem-solving mindset, and someone who is ready to take ownership and grow with the startup.
