Role Description The Senior Data Analyst will work on-site in Mumbai in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into data-driven insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources, performing advanced analyses, and building dashboards and reports to support strategic decision-making. The role involves designing and refining data models, applying statistical methods to identify trends and patterns, and supporting predictive and AI-driven initiatives. The Senior Data Analyst will communicate findings to stakeholders in clear, actionable formats, partner with engineering and product teams to improve data pipelines, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of analytics best practices within the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and proven experience in Data Analytics to extract insights and solve complex business problems.
- Solid foundation in Statistics, including hypothesis testing, regression, and probability concepts relevant to data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with Data Modeling, including designing, maintaining, and optimizing data structures for reporting and analysis.
- Clear and effective Communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytics or scripting language (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar) to build dashboards and reports.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and data warehousing concepts (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in data, AI, or technology-focused environments and comfort collaborating with engineering and product teams.
