Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Analyst who is passionate about transforming data into meaningful business insights. In this role, you will support strategic decision-making across sales, inventory, merchandising, and retail operations by analyzing business data, identifying trends, and recommending actionable improvements.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with business leaders and contribute to building a data-driven culture in a fast-growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales, inventory, and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Monitor SKU performance, best-selling products, slow-moving inventory, and overall inventory health.
- Recommend replenishment plans, stock transfers, and inventory optimization strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports for business performance tracking.
- Support demand forecasting and inventory planning through data analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports.
- Automate routine reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Merchandising, Retail Operations, and Finance to provide data-driven insights.
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear and actionable manner to stakeholders.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Data Analytics, preferably in Retail, E-commerce, Consumer Goods, or Supply Chain.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and data visualization.
- Knowledge of SQL and Power BI/Tableau will be an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems and retail analytics is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work on large datasets.
- Interest in AI, Automation, and leveraging technology to improve business processes.
