Job Summary
The Senior Content Writer is responsible for developing strategic, compelling, and research-driven content across digital and marketing platforms. This role focuses on creating high-quality content that supports brand visibility, audience engagement, lead generation, and sales initiatives while maintaining consistency with the company's brand voice and style guidelines.
The ideal candidate is an experienced content professional with strong writing, editing, research, and SEO skills. The role requires someone who can translate complex concepts into clear and engaging narratives, manage multiple content projects, and deliver polished, audience-focused content within defined timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop compelling, research-driven short- and long-form content for websites, blogs, emails, social media, press releases, brochures, and lead generation campaigns.
- Editing & Proofreading: Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, consistency, adherence to briefs, and plagiarism-free delivery.
- Content Strategy & Ideation: Contribute to content strategy by identifying content gaps, brainstorming ideas, and developing relevant topics based on audience and business objectives.
- SEO Optimization: Create SEO-friendly content using relevant keywords and essential SEO elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, alt tags, and anchor texts.
- Audience & Brand Engagement: Translate complex concepts into clear, engaging content while maintaining the company's brand voice and style guidelines across platforms.
- Social Media & Advertising: Develop creative and engaging copy for social media, digital campaigns, and text advertisements to support brand visibility and lead generation.
- Research & Trends: Conduct industry research and stay updated on relevant trends and developments to ensure content remains accurate, timely, and valuable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in content writing, copywriting, or content marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong understanding of SEO, content research, and digital content best practices.
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong editing, proofreading, creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
