💻 The Role
We're looking for a Senior Associate, Finance Operations to join our Finance team in Bengaluru. In this role, you'll ensure supplier payouts are executed accurately and on time while building scalable processes that strengthen financial controls and improve operational efficiency.
You'll analyze payment and reconciliation data, investigate discrepancies, drive process improvements, and leverage AI and automation to eliminate manual work. Working closely with Finance, Product, Engineering, Customer Operations, and our global Supply Partners, you'll solve operational challenges and build systems that enable our Finance Operations function to scale with the business. This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes through data, and driving measurable operational impact.
This role is based in Bengaluru. We're looking for candidates who are local or open to relocating.

- Own business-critical financial operations. Execute supplier payouts exceeding USD 30 million every month, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and operational excellence across one of Headout's most critical finance functions.

💝 What Skills & Experience You Need?
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Operations, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for process improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with experience performing root cause analysis and driving issues to resolution independently.
- Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Experience with SQL or data visualization tools is a plus.
- High attention to detail, with a strong focus on financial accuracy, operational excellence, and robust financial controls.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners.
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Interest in AI and automation, with a willingness to leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
- MBA (Finance), CA Inter, CMA, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
