Responsibilities
- Apply your Appian expertise to analyze, design & build modern and state-of-the-art business applications for global customers using the Appian platform.
- Responsible for delivering the most challenging development projects for Princeton Blue’s clients.
- Engage with customers from the design/architecture phase of a project, understand clients' businesses, participate in conversion and documentation of business requirements to system requirements, responsible for scalable and maintainable design, and developing high-quality applications on the Appian platform.
- Use story grooming, review, and analysis of requirements.
- Perform and lead sprint demos to end users regularly.
- Responsible for developing components and artifacts in the areas of Appian Solution design, process modeling, solution development, Appian AI, system and application integration approaches, deployment, and optimization.
- Mentor a team of Appian associates and groom them into Appian professionals.
- Coordinate closely with other consultants in the team to ensure the right implementation of requirements following Appian best practices.
- Contribute actively to R&D work taken up by Princeton Blue Innovation Lab of exploring new technology areas, building prototypes, POCs, and solutions.
- Play a role in the recruitment of talented Appian consultants for the practice.
- Contribute to the knowledge repository in terms of customer best practices, reusable components, and towards the thought leadership of the company, through blogs, white papers, case studies, etc.
- Other key initiatives as determined by Princeton Blue management.

Mandatory Skills
- Over 5 years of Appian implementation experience, knowing all aspects of the product and implementation methodology.
- Has experience in client-facing roles and the ability to work in diversified and distributed teams.
- Understands Appian solution development methodology and the ability to adopt newer methodologies as defined by Princeton Blue, Inc.
- Has led over 3+ Appian solutions from concept to execution.
- Exposure to Agile methodology.
- Has participated in sprint 0, which includes, but not limited to the creation of a backlog of user stories, defining unit test strategies and performing integration tests.
- Hands-on skills on Appian, SAIL, HTML, XML, Web Services, RDBMS, and Core Java.
- Holds all relevant and available certifications for Appian – Both Senior and Associate Appian certifications.
- Has a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
- Problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Pharma and Life Science domain knowledge.
- Experience in Parallel development.
- Proactive in identifying areas of improvement and proposing solutions.
- Awareness or working knowledge of the latest Appian features.
- Hands-on with Database Design and Stored Procedures.
- Experience with DB Optimization.
- Experience in design patterns and transaction management.
