Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for guiding prospective students through the entire study-abroad admissions process. This role involves conducting one-on-one counseling sessions to understand academic backgrounds and career goals, recommending suitable countries, programs, and universities, and explaining admission requirements and timelines. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries, following up with leads, organizing information sessions, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or similar systems. The role also includes contributing to outreach and conversion activities, such as seminars, events, and partnerships with schools or colleges.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert inquiries into enrollments, manage pipelines, and meet admissions targets in an ethical and consultative manner.
- Relevant experience in international education, overseas admissions, or student recruitment, typically 3–5+ years in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a postgraduate degree in Education, Counseling, or Business is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and at least one regional language; strong presentation skills for seminars and workshops.
