Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing activities. This full-time, on-site role is based in Hyderabad and supports the financial integrity of CareVale Rehabilitation by preparing accurate financial statements and reports for leadership. The Senior Accountant will oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Responsibilities include coordinating audits, optimizing financial processes, and collaborating with clinical and operational teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions. The role may also include supervising junior accounting staff, reviewing their work, and contributing to the improvement of accounting systems and policies.
Qualifications
- Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations.
- must have experience in GST, TDS, IT filiing and compliences.
- must have experience in IEC complinces and doucmentations.
- must have knowledge in PF & Esi satatutory work and filiing.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Knowledge of applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, with experience in audit coordination.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on-site in a multidisciplinary environment and to mentor or supervise junior staff.
- Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (such as CA, CPA, or CMA) is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, or service-oriented organization is an advantage.
