Role Description The Security Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing security operations across assigned facilities and sites. The role includes developing, implementing, and monitoring security policies and procedures to protect people, property, and information. The Security Manager will lead and mentor security teams, manage vendor relationships, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate incident response and investigations. Daily activities also involve monitoring access control systems, reviewing security reports, conducting audits and drills, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and applicable regulations. The Security Manager will collaborate closely with facility management, IT, and senior leadership to continually improve the security posture and support business continuity.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Physical Security skills, including facility protection, access control, surveillance management, and emergency response planning.
- Candidates should possess Security Management skills, such as policy development, risk assessment, incident management, and vendor and team oversight.
- Candidates should possess Information Security skills, including data protection awareness, secure handling of sensitive information, and familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess Cybersecurity and Network Security skills, including understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, basic security controls, and coordination with IT security teams.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in security management, criminology, information security, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Proven experience in managing security operations for commercial or corporate environments, preferably within real estate, facilities, or large enterprise settings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, respond to incidents quickly, and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
