Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for some work from home. The SEO Specialist will manage day-to-day activities such as conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements, and monitoring website performance through analytics tools. Responsibilities include developing and executing link-building strategies, identifying technical and content-related SEO issues, and recommending improvements to enhance organic search visibility. The role also involves collaborating with content, design, and marketing teams to align SEO initiatives with overall digital strategies and reporting on key performance metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO to identify opportunities and optimize website content and structure.
- Candidates should possess skills in conducting comprehensive SEO Audits to diagnose technical, content, and structural issues affecting search performance.
- Candidates should possess skills in Link Building to develop ethical, high-quality backlink strategies that improve domain authority and rankings.
- Candidates should possess skills in Web Analytics to track, measure, and interpret SEO performance, user behavior, and conversion metrics.
- Relevant experience with major search engines, SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar), and content management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a data-driven mindset.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in digital marketing or SEO roles; a degree or certification in marketing, communications, IT, or a related field is beneficial.
