Better Works HR is looking for a Search Engine Optimization Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role is responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance online visibility for Better Works HR and its clients. Day-to-day tasks include performing SEO audits, conducting keyword research, optimizing on-page content and metadata, and managing link-building initiatives. The SEO Manager will monitor performance using web analytics tools, prepare regular reports, and collaborate with marketing, content, and development teams to implement SEO best practices. The role also involves staying current with search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and competitive insights to continuously refine SEO strategies.
Qualifications
- Ability to conduct comprehensive SEO Audits and implement technical and on-page improvements.
- Strong skills in Keyword Research, including search intent analysis and keyword mapping.
- Experience in Link Building strategies, outreach, and managing high-quality backlink profiles.
- Proficiency in Web Analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and similar platforms) to track and report performance.
- Marketing knowledge with an understanding of digital marketing channels and how SEO integrates with broader campaigns.
- Experience with on-page and technical SEO (site architecture, page speed, mobile optimization, structured data) is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working with content management systems and basic HTML/CSS concepts to support SEO implementation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present insights to stakeholders.
- Previous experience in an SEO-focused role and familiarity with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
