Better Works HR is looking for a Search Engine Optimization Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role is responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that increase organic traffic, improve search rankings, and drive qualified leads. Day-to-day tasks include conducting technical and content SEO audits, performing keyword research, optimizing on-page elements, and managing link-building initiatives. The SEO Manager will analyze performance data using web analytics tools, prepare reports and insights, and collaborate with content, marketing, and development teams to implement SEO best practices. The role also involves monitoring industry trends, competitor activity, and search engine updates to continuously refine strategy and maintain strong online visibility.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in SEO Audits and Keyword Research to identify opportunities and guide optimization efforts.
- Candidates should possess solid expertise in Link Building to develop ethical, high-quality backlink strategies that improve domain authority.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Web Analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and similar platforms) to track performance and inform decision-making.
- Candidates should possess foundational Marketing knowledge to align SEO initiatives with broader brand, content, and campaign strategies.
- Experience with on-page and technical SEO, including metadata optimization, site speed improvements, mobile responsiveness, and structured data, is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in managing SEO for multiple websites or brands, preferably in competitive markets; agency or in-house experience is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in SEO and digital marketing.
