SDE1 - Frontend Transformer (6 Month Internship)
Location: Gurgaon
Nature of Role: Work from Office only
Experience: Fresher / final-year student — some hands-on project experience in React.js/Next.js expected (coursework, personal projects, hackathons)
Reporting to: Tech Lead
Tech Stack: React.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, SEO/Core Web Vitals
Stipend: 20k per month
Note: This is a 6-month, work-from-office internship based out of Gurgaon, with the possibility of conversion to a full-time SDE-1 role.

About the Job
We are seeking a driven SDE1 - Frontend Transformer to join our team and help build and ship frontend features used by millions of parents. As part of a small, high-ownership team, you'll work directly under the Tech Lead across three areas: building real frontend features, driving SEO that brings parents to Parentune organically, and testing the product — including using AI tools to catch issues before they reach users. You should be comfortable with frontend coding languages, development frameworks, and a willingness to learn fast in a lean, fast-paced startup environment.
Desired Profile
- Good working knowledge of React.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and Core Web Vitals
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Search Console is a plus
- Comfortable using AI coding agents (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) to learn and build faster
- Exposure to Bootstrap, Webpack, or similar build/styling tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high-growth stage startup
Key Goals & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain responsive UI components using React.js/Next.j
- sImplement SEO best practices — meta tags, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and page performance
- Conduct product testing, including AI-assisted testing, to catch bugs and regressions before release
- Assist with integrating APIs/backend with the frontend
- Create rapid prototypes of interfaces to be used as a blueprint for development
- Help provide the best possible user experience to parents
Qualification
- Pursuing or recently completed a BTech or a similar equivalent deree
- Some hands-on experience building React.js/Next.js projects, through coursework, personal projects, or hackathonsGenuine interest in SEO and frontend performance
