Role Description The Script Writer role at ASK Creatives is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Script Writer will develop original concepts, outlines, and scripts for films, web series, and wedding-related content, aligning storylines with project objectives and client expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and revising screenplays, collaborating with directors and producers, and adapting scripts based on feedback from the creative team. The role also involves conducting research to strengthen story authenticity, preparing dialogue and scene descriptions, and maintaining consistency in tone and character development. The Script Writer will participate in brainstorming sessions, support pre-production planning with script breakdowns, and work closely with the video production and editing teams to ensure the final output reflects the narrative vision.
Qualifications
- Strong script development skills, including Scriptwriting, Screenplays, and Scripting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with production teams and understanding of Video Production processes.
- Excellent Writing skills, with a focus on dialogue, narrative structure, and pacing.
- Proficiency in industry-standard screenwriting formats and software (e.g., Writer duet, Final Draft, Celtx).
- Creative storytelling ability with a portfolio showcasing film, web series, or digital video scripts.
- Attention to detail, strong time management, and capacity to work under production deadlines.
- Comfort working on-site in a studio environment in Hyderabad and participating in creative discussions.
- Relevant education in Film, Literature, Media, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; equivalent experience is valued.
