SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant – L3
Location: Offshore – Dubai / KSA Projects
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

Compensation: ₹18–28 LPA, depending on experience, SAP TM expertise and implementation exposure
Reports To: Project Manager / Delivery Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant – L3 to support a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation for a leading organization in the Power Generation Equipment – Sales, Rental & Service sector.
The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring and implementing SAP TM solutions covering transportation planning, freight management, logistics execution, freight settlement and shipment visibility across equipment, spare parts and service operations.
Key Requirements
- 6–10 years of overall SAP consulting experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP Transportation Management (TM) implementation/support experience.
- At least one end-to-end SAP TM implementation integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong knowledge of transportation planning, freight management and logistics execution.
- Hands-on experience integrating SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA, Embedded EWM, SD, MM and external logistics systems.

- Charge Management
- Route Optimization
- Working knowledge of SAP Integration Suite/CPI, SAP Fiori, APIs, IDocs and Web Services.
- Knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology.
- Experience in equipment, heavy equipment, manufacturing, engineering services, distribution/logistics, spare parts or after-sales service environments is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline.
- SAP TM Certification preferred.
- SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain certification is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP TM implementation and configuration activities.
- Conduct business workshops and translate transportation requirements into SAP TM solutions.
- Design and implement end-to-end transportation planning and execution processes.
- Configure Freight Order Management, Transportation Planning, Carrier Selection, Freight Settlement and Charge Management.
- Support inbound and outbound transportation processes for equipment and spare parts.
- Integrate SAP TM with S/4HANA, Embedded EWM, SD, MM and third-party logistics providers.
- Configure shipment tracking, route optimization and freight cost management.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams.
- Support data migration, SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live and hypercare.
- Conduct user training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot SAP TM issues.

Compensation
₹18–28 LPA
Candidates with strong end-to-end SAP TM + S/4HANA implementation experience, multiple TM implementations and relevant domain exposure may command compensation toward the upper end of the range or above.
