We are looking for an experienced SAP Security & GRC Access Control Senior Consultant to support client engagements involving SAP application security, risk management, and SAP platform security. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP Security, SAP GRC Access Control 10.x/12.x, SAP S/4HANA, and ECC, along with expertise in Segregation of Duties (SoD), security role design, and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP Security assessments, design, implementation, and optimization across SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments.
- Act as a subject matter expert in SAP Application Security and SAP GRC Access Control.
- Design, configure, implement, and test SAP security roles, authorization controls, and SoD controls.
- Identify security risks, authorization gaps, and SoD conflicts; recommend appropriate remediation and mitigation strategies.
- Advise clients on SAP security best practices, role design, access governance, and risk management.
- Support SAP GRC Access Control processes, including Access Risk Analysis, Access Request Management, Business Role Management, and Emergency Access Management.
- Evaluate existing security controls and recommend improvements to strengthen the SAP security framework.
- Proactively identify engagement risks and communicate concerns to project leadership.
- Lead project activities, including planning, delivery management, quality reviews, and stakeholder coordination.
- Mentor junior team members, support knowledge-sharing initiatives, and contribute to practice development.
- Participate in proposal development and client discussions.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in SAP Security.
- Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control 10.x/12.x.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC security implementations and assessments.
- Strong understanding of SAP authorization concepts, security role design, and access provisioning.
- Practical experience in Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, conflict remediation, and risk mitigation.
- Ability to design, implement, and test SAP security and SoD controls.
- Knowledge of SAP security best practices and enterprise ERP security frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management, organizational, and team leadership capabilities.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SAP Fiori, BI, SRM, CRM, SCM, MDG, or HR security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
- Experience working with Big 4 consulting firms or large SAP consulting engagements.
