Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a SAP FICO Consultant based in the Pune Division, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The SAP FICO Consultant will configure and support SAP FICO modules, including Finance and Controlling, to meet business requirements and ensure accurate financial reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business processes, designing solutions, managing CO-PA configurations, and resolving system issues. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing functional specifications, participating in testing and UAT, and supporting implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. The consultant will also provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing optimization of financial processes within SAP.
Qualifications
- Strong SAP FICO expertise, including configuration, integration, and support within Finance and Controlling modules.
- Hands-on experience with CO-PA and related controlling processes to enable detailed profitability analysis.
- Solid understanding of business processes in finance and accounting, including GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, and closing activities.
- Demonstrated analytical skills for translating business requirements into effective SAP solutions and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with full lifecycle SAP implementations or major enhancements, including requirements gathering, configuration, and testing.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Professional certifications in SAP FICO or related modules are an advantage, as is experience in manufacturing, ERP, or financial services domains.
- S4HANA is preferred.
