Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Staff role based in Pune City. The Sales Staff member will engage with prospective and existing customers, explain program offerings and class levels, and guide families and individuals in selecting appropriate swim courses. Daily responsibilities include handling walk-in and phone inquiries, maintaining accurate enrollment records, supporting promotional activities, and coordinating with instructors and operations staff to ensure a smooth participant experience. The role also involves following up on leads, supporting local marketing and outreach initiatives, and providing high-quality, courteous service aligned with the Michael Phelps Swimming brand.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and adult participants.
- Candidates should possess sales and customer service skills, such as lead follow-up, consultative selling, and handling inquiries in person and over phone or email.
- Candidates should possess basic administrative and organizational skills, including record-keeping, scheduling, and coordination with internal teams.
- Candidates should possess basic computer skills, including familiarity with office software and online customer management tools.
- Candidates should ideally have prior experience in retail, education services, sports, fitness, or hospitality, with a strong focus on client experience.
- Candidates should demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as needed.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education in business, marketing, or sports management is an advantage.
- An interest in swimming, sports, or child development is beneficial and supports success in the role.
