Role Description The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new advertising and partnership opportunities, managing existing client accounts, and achieving sales targets for the publication’s products and services. Day-to-day tasks include conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and sales materials, negotiating contracts, and maintaining accurate sales records and reports. The Sales Specialist will coordinate with editorial, marketing, and operations teams to align sales offerings with content and campaigns, and will provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear spoken and written interaction and effective presentation abilities.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive client relationships.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills for prospecting, lead generation, closing deals, and meeting revenue targets.
- Candidates should possess Training and Sales Management skills to guide junior team members and support sales processes when needed.
- Experience in media, advertising, or automotive-related sales is beneficial.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, basic data analysis, and MS Office or similar productivity software is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, manage multiple accounts, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
