Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Representative based in Kozhikode, with some flexibility for work from home. The Sales Representative will manage existing customer accounts, build relationships with retailers and distributors, and identify new sales opportunities within the region. Daily responsibilities include visiting clients, presenting product offerings, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring timely order processing and delivery coordination. The role also involves tracking sales performance, gathering market and competitor insights, and providing feedback to support marketing and product initiatives. The Sales Representative will collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and contribute to achieving overall sales targets.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Customer relationship management skills, including effective communication and follow-up.
- Basic understanding of the food products market, distribution channels, and retail operations.
- Ability to plan routes, manage time efficiently, and work both independently and in teams.
- Comfort with using phones, email, and basic office software to manage orders and reports.
- Fluency in English and local languages relevant to Kerala; strong interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel within Kozhikode and nearby areas as required for client visits.
- Prior experience in FMCG or food product sales is an advantage.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
