Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Manager, based in Visakhapatnam with some flexibility for work from home. The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating and managing business for affordable housing finance products, including sourcing new customers, nurturing leads, and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners and local stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include meeting sales targets, conducting customer visits, explaining loan products and eligibility, coordinating documentation, and ensuring timely processing through the centralized operations unit. The role involves monitoring portfolio quality, following credit guidelines, and supporting collections to maintain healthy asset quality. The Sales Manager will also prepare regular sales reports, track market trends, participate in local marketing activities, and collaborate with internal teams to improve customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in housing finance, banking, NBFCs, or related financial services.
- Strong customer relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to achieve sales targets, manage a sales pipeline, and work with channel partners.
- Knowledge of retail loan products, basic credit assessment, and documentation requirements.
- Comfortable working in field-based roles, conducting customer visits, and engaging with local markets.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and basic reporting; familiarity with CRM or sales tracking systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline; an MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification is preferred.
- Fluency in English and local languages used in Visakhapatnam; strong ethical standards and commitment to financial inclusion.
