Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Bengaluru. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and driving sales of medical devices within assigned territories and specialties. Daily activities include meeting healthcare professionals, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, coordinating with internal teams and distribution partners, and ensuring timely order processing and follow-ups. The role involves monitoring market trends, gathering customer feedback, and supporting marketing and promotional activities to strengthen NovoMed’s presence. The Sales Executive will also prepare sales reports, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Commercial and sales skills: proven ability in lead generation, negotiation, closing deals, and account management.
- Customer relationship and communication skills: strong interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Market and product knowledge: understanding of medical device markets (vascular, cardiovascular, IR, surgery) and willingness to learn technical product details.
- Organizational and analytical skills: proficiency in planning routes, managing pipelines, forecasting, and using CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Education: bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Experience: prior experience in medical device or healthcare sales is strongly preferred; field sales exposure in the Bengaluru region is beneficial.
- Other requirements: ability to travel within assigned territory, comfort working in hospitals and clinical environments, and commitment to ethical and compliant selling practices.
